Three years ago, at the age of 30, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. My whole world was flipped upside down. I was a stay at home mom to a 3 year old and 15 month old. I didn't have time to have cancer. I had to be there for my family. This thought is what fueled me to beat this awful disease. I had only one option: To Survive. I consider myself one of the lucky ones. I did survive and have been pretty healthy ever since. Other's haven't been so lucky. A cure has to be found.
